FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS
I would like to select the Military Award and apply it to my HPU account. I understand that this award may not be combined with other sources of institutional aid or significant funding sources as defined by University policy. This award is valid only through the College of Professional Studies, Military Campus Programs and its approved courses.
All Hawaii Pacific University gift assistance (scholarships, grants, awards) are available to assist with paying tuition and fees (unless otherwise noted). Adjustments to HPU gift aid may be made if the student is receiving outside benefits or a combination of other off campus assistance (including outside scholarships) that in combination with university funds exceeds tuition and fees.
OTHER SIGNIFICANT FUNDING DEFINED
Scholarships will be processed upon the completion of all term withdrawal/refund periods. Scholarships will be adjusted/revoked upon course withdrawal or if the student is determined to be ineligible. I acknowledge and understand the eligibility requirements and the withdrawal/refund policies.
SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS
Students receiving the Military award and or Financial aid must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) toward a degree objective in order to be eligible to receive financial aid at Hawai’i Pacific University. The SAP policy at the University is based on standards established by Federal regulations governing student financial aid. These standards are cumulative and include all periods of a student’s enrollment, INCLUDING PERIODS IN WHICH THE STUDENT DID NOT RECEIVE FINANCIAL AID and all courses attempted even if excluded under the forgiveness policy.
REGISTRATION POLICIES
Per the Hawaii Pacific University Registration Policies: By registering for courses, Hawaii Pacific University students AGREE TO COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION, AND FULFILL ALL FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS RELATED TO ENROLLMENT.
