Aloha mai kākou! Hawai'i Pacific University’s Center for Marine Debris Research is pleased to invite you to Hawai'i’s first International Derelict Fishing Gear Prevention Workshop. The workshop will kick off with a ceremony and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration to collaborate on ocean conservation strategies. This event is a concrete positive step toward preventing the largest source of marine debris in Hawai'i, East Asian fishing gear.
