Credit Overload Request Form

The maximum credits an undergraduate student at HPU can enroll in without additional approval is 17 credits per semester. If you want to enroll in more than 17 credits in a semester, we ask you complete this form.

Once submitted, this form will be sent to a committee for review. You will be sent a decision within 2-5 business days. If you have questions in the meantime, you can reach out to your Academic Advisor or Undergraduate Academic Advising Office.

If your cumulative GPA is below a 3.0 and you are requesting to enroll in more than 18 credits, please write a short statement explaining why you are requesting a credit overload and how you plan to be successful in your academics with an increased courseload.
