Only students who attend one of the schools listed on our Information for Incoming Exchange Students Webpage who have been formally nominated by the coordinator at their home university should be submitting this application. Personal and Academic Information Please complete the information below regarding your personal and academic information. 2. Required Documentation In this section you will need to upload a copy of your passport, official transcripts, official English score (if necessary), Financial Documentation. Please see the instructions below for further information. 3. Application for Admission You will also need to complete the HPU Application for Admission. You can find instructions on how to access and complete the application here Incoming Exchange Student Application Guide. Please carefully follow the instructions as they will show you exactly what to complete as an exchange student. We also appreciate your patience as some of the information is the same as what you will complete below. 4. Health Requirements Once you're officially admitted to HPU, you will receive your HPU student email and student ID number. You will need your HPU ID number in order to submit the following health requirements. We wanted to inform you of what medical documents HPU will need so you can plan in advance. HPU has partnered with Med+Proctor for the submission of immunization records, which will make the process easier for you. We will send you an email to notify you, when you can access the platform and submit your documentation. For more detailed information and the required forms for the Health Clearance Requirements below can be found Here - 2 doses of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 doses of Varicella (VZV) - 1 dose of Meningococcal (MCV) (for students living on campus) - Tuberculosis clearance (for students studying at HPU more than one semester)
If you're interested we will set you up with an international mentor/buddy. This will be an HPU student who can help you navigate life in Honolulu and at HPU. You will receive their contact information and we will give them your contact information. There will also be some fun events for you to attend with your mentor throughout the semester.
I understand that I am required by U.S Immigration Law to provide the university with adequate documentation indicating that I will have sufficient funds to cover my studies in the United States. I aslo understand that at the end of the term HPU will mail an official copy of my transcript to my home University.
