Sharky's Swells Submission Form

This form provides a place to submit items for consideration for inclusion in the upcoming Sharky's Swells newsletter.

Sharky's Swells is a student activities newsletter published by the Office of Student Engagement. The purpose of Sharky's Swells is to advertise student events occurring around campus at HPU. The newsletter is sent weekly during Fall and Spring semesters to all students, as well as a select mailing list of university departments and administration.

Sharky's Swells is sent on Fridays by 5:00pm HST and advertises campus events in the following week. Therefore, the deadline for inclusion submissions is noon on the Wednesday before the corresponding edition is published.

A sample timeline is below:
Event Date: Friday, September 13
Corresponding Sharky's Swells issue date: Friday, September 6
Due date for submission form: 12:00pm on Wednesday, September 4

Please note: Completing this submission form does not guarantee your event will be published in Sharky's Swells. The Office of Student Engagement reserves the final judgment for which events to feature in each issue.

Please also understand that Sharky's Swells is an initiative undertaken by the Office of Student Engagement to spread awareness of student events that align with our department goals. Events hosted by other HPU offices, colleges and departments may also be advertised on other HPU channels not overseen by the Office of Student Engagement.
